A Return to the Sacred.
In a world that moves too fast, filled with noise, distraction, and quiet grief, it is easy to forget ourselves. Many of us, in an effort to cope, turn to numbing—seeking solace in overconsumption, endless scrolling, or constant doing. But deep down, what we are longing for is not escape—it is return. At Svarasa, we offer gentle spaces for remembering. Remembering that well-being is not a luxury—it is a birthright. It belongs to every body, every background, every soul. Our retreats are rooted in humility, guided by the wisdom of Ayurveda, and held with care. Through nourishing food, mindful movement, stillness, and breath, we invite you to come home to what is already whole within you. More than a temporary refuge, our retreats are a beginning. We offer tools and practices you can carry into daily life—simple, sustainable ways to regulate the nervous system, restore balance, and stay connected to your inner knowing. You will learn how to incorporate Ayurvedic-inspired meals and spices, yoga asana, and breathwork (pranayama) into your rhythms—so that the retreat continues, long after you’ve returned home.
UPCOMING EXPERIENCES
Our next retreat runs August 22-24, 2025.

Come Home to Yourself
Svarasa is more than a retreat —it's a reclamation. Inspired by yoga and the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda our experiences are designed for every body, every identity, and every soul. We offer a radical reset from the chaos of modern life. Through healing food, meditation, bodywork, and a body-positive, inclusive environment, we invite you to slow down, unplug, and return to what is sacred: your breath, your body, your spirit. Healing and self inquiry aren’t a luxury for the few—they are a right for us all.
We believe that wellness is a birthright, not a brand.
It does not belong to the privileged few—it belongs to all of us. Every shape, every color, every ability, every identity. Healing is not exclusive. It is inherent.

We believe that wellness is a birthright, not a brand.
It does not belong to the privileged few—those with thin bodies, white skin, and disposable income. It belongs to all of us. Every shape, every color, every ability, every identity. Healing is not exclusive. It is inherent.
We are living in a time of disconnection.
From our bodies. From the earth. From each other.
The noise of capitalism, technology, and trauma has drowned out the quiet wisdom within. We are overwhelmed, overstimulated, and over it.So we numb.
With food. With sex. With shopping, scrolling, drinking, working, overdoing.
We check out—because it feels safer than showing up.
But disembodiment is not our natural state. We were born to feel. To listen. To be.Svarasa is a collective return.
To presence. To ritual. To wholeness.
Through food that heals.
Through touch that honors.
Through rest, movement, and silence. We are not here to fix you.
We are here to remind you that you were never broken.
You don’t need permission to take up space.
You don’t need to shrink, silence, or disappear to be worthy. This is your invitation to fall back in love—with yourself, with your body, with the sacred act of being alive.
Come home.
To yourself.
To your truth.
To your svarasa—your own essence. -
We acknowledge with deep respect and gratitude that our retreats take place on the ancestral homelands of Indigenous peoples.
Our Monroe, NY gatherings occur on lands originally stewarded by the Munsee Lenape people. Our Vermont retreats are held on unceded Abenaki territory.
We honor the enduring relationship between Indigenous communities and these lands, and we recognize that our ability to gather, heal, and reconnect in these spaces is a profound privilege.
We are committed to ongoing learning, respect, and reciprocity as we walk this path of wellness and restoration.
